Vegan meal time…

I laughed so hard

Pizza mit Velami, Champignons, Jalapenos und Hefeschmelz. Soooo lecker!

Pizza with Velami (vegan Salami), button mushrooms, jalapenos and vegan ‘cheese’ made from margarine, flour, veggie broth, yeast flakes and spices. Soooo yummy!

Sooo, ich habe diesen Blog etwas vernachlässigt, aber das soll sich jetzt ändern!
So, I kind of neglected this blog but this is about to change!
Ab jetzt gibt es hier meine eigenen leckeren Rezepte zum Nachkochen. Los geht’s mit meinem Lieblingschili.
From now on I’ll be sharing my original yummy recipes. I’ll start with my favourite Chili.

Vegan Chili Ingredients:
2 red onions
A shitload of garlic
Veggie oil
1 yellow bell pepper
1 medium-sized zucchini
2 medium-sized carrots
1 can of chickpeas
1 can of corn
1 can of kidney beans
2 cups of textured soy protein
2 cans of tomato puree (the sauce stuff, not the paste!)
Salt
Pepper
Sugar
Chili powder (I would start out with two teaspoons of chili powder, but it totally depends on your taste and the chili powder you use. I buy mine at an Asian supermarket and it’s super super hot!)
A drop or two of liquid smoke (you can leave it out but it gives it an extra something-something)
Sriracha sauce
Preparation:
Prepare soy protein according to package and drain. Chop onion and garlic and soften them in some veggie oil in a huge pot placed on the stove top on a medium heat. Add soy protein, chopped pepper, zucchini and carrots and cook for a few minutes, stirring so as not to burn. Throw in the tomato puree and bring to boil. Add chickpeas, corn and kidney beans. Let simmer for at least an hour and season with salt, pepper, sugar, chili powder and a lot of Sriracha sauce. Add liquid smoke (attention: liquid smoke has a very strong taste, start with one drop, taste, and then add more if you feel like it).
Guacamole Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados
2 tomato, seeds removed and finely chopped
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Fresh chili, finely chopped
1 minced clove of garlic
Salt
Dash of lemon juice
Preparation:
Mash the shit out of the avocados. Add tomato, cilantro, chili and garlic, and season with salt and lemon juice.
Put on chili. Enjoy!
My favorite way to eat this is with tortilla chips but you could serve it in tortilla shells…or eat over rice…or with bread…
